There are four factor to consider when booking your dog in. (See Estimate the Groom Cost)

We will adjust the cost at the end of the groom if your dog takes more time than their weight cost

You must add the Remove mats & knots if there are parts of the coat you cannot get a comb through. 

If your dog's coat is longer than 2 cm, then it will take longer and  it will require a pre-clip.

If you maintain your dog's long coat and wish to have a long clip (using a comb guard), book a comb clip

If your dog has health issues or they are on calming medication you must let us know on the day

The groomers will pluck the ears gently on most dogs and check them for signs of infection. 
We won't, however, do a deep clean as this is better done by the vet.

Unless your double-coated dog is matted badly, we always advise a de-shed or de-shed and tidy because their coat has its own thermo-regulation to release heat in summer and to build an undercoat to keep them warm in winter. Shaving a double-coated dog will cause the guard hair to shorten each time, eventually giving way to the soft undercoat hair, ruining the coat's protection and look.

From July 2026, when you book an appointment online you will be asked for a credit card. if you don't wish to keep your card on file you will need to pay 50% deposit. This will be deducted from your completed groom cost or rolled over if you wish to book ahead. Make sure you cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to your appointment By not giving us time to replace your appointment with another dog we have lost income for the business and the 50% will cover at least the wages paid for that time.
